gasping for air

gasping for air
why wont you let me breath?
i cannot not thrive when im around you
your jealousy and need to keep me lock like a caged bird
has forsaken me, tied me up and has kept me hostage
i scream for redemption.
i sing for the day i will be free from you menacing clutches.
how i wish i could fly and soar
but alas a butterfly cannot ask for metamorphosis
it can only wish for death.

Wow powerful ending. It is true that butterflies cannot ask for metamorphosis. Powerful.
